Cosmetic Surgery Anatomy Course（CSAC）は、グアム大学で実施される、美容医療領域に特化した解剖学の教育実習です。
本コースでは、アメリカ本土の認可施設より冷凍輸送されたフレッシュキャダバー（ご献体）を使用し、生体に近似した組織状態のもとで皮膚・皮下組織（脂肪・筋膜・筋層・神経・血管・骨構造など）を精密に観察します。
これにより、受講者は美容外科・形成外科・美容皮膚科・歯科領域など、臨床現場で応用可能な解剖学的知識を実践的かつ安全に修得することを目的としています。
CSAC は、美容医療における安全性と倫理性の確立、ならびに国際水準の教育体制の推進を目的として設立されたプログラムであり、アジア・太平洋地域における解剖学教育の発展に寄与することを目指しています。
Cosmetic Surgery Anatomy Course (CSAC) is an exclusive anatomical education program in aesthetic medicine conducted at the University of Guam.
In this course, fresh cadavers—donated bodies that have been cryogenically transported from licensed facilities in the continental United States—are utilized. Under tissue conditions closely resembling those of living bodies, participants conduct detailed observations of the skin and subcutaneous structures (including fat, fascia, muscle layers, nerves, blood vessels, and bone structures).
Through this hands-on approach, participants acquire practical and clinically applicable anatomical knowledge relevant to fields such as cosmetic surgery, plastic surgery, dermatology, and dentistry, in a safe and ethical manner.
CSAC was established with the mission of promoting safety and ethical standards in aesthetic medicine, as well as advancing internationally recognized educational systems. The program aims to contribute to the development of anatomical education throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
What is a Fresh Cadaver?

フレッシュキャダバーとは、薬液固定を行わず冷凍保存されたご献体であり、生体組織に近い柔軟性や色調を保持するため、臨床的手技や解剖学教育において極めて有用な学術教材です。
A fresh cadaver refers to a donated body that has been preserved by freezing rather than chemical fixation. Because it retains the flexibility and coloration of living tissue, it serves as an extremely valuable educational material for clinical training and anatomical instruction.

This program is not merely an anatomical dissection course; it offers a unique educational opportunity that bridges academic knowledge and clinical skills. Using fresh cadavers that closely resemble living tissue, participants examine subcutaneous structures, nerves, blood vessels, and fascial layers in detail, acquiring knowledge that can be immediately applied in clinical practice—including injection techniques, tissue dissection, procedural design, and safe zones.
Under the guidance of supervising physicians with extensive clinical experience, participants receive practical instruction that goes beyond theory, cultivating procedural judgment grounded in safety, reproducibility, and precision.
